Log işlemini aktifleştirmek ve pasifleştirmek için aşağıdaki komut kullanılır.

```

Loglara ubuntuda `/var/log/syslog`veya `/var/log/messages`dosyalarındn erişilebilir.\

Kalıcı hale getirmek için;

```
vi /etc/named.conf
...
options {
	    querylog yes;
}

...
logging {
        channel querylog {
                file "/var/log/querylog";
                severity debug 3;
        };
};
```

logları querylog adlı dosyada toplayabilmek için;

```
touch /var/log/querylog
chown named.named /var/log/querylog
service named restart
```
